Expansion?

So, as a new company, we're always looking to build our customer base, and we find ourselves flirting with new markets. Unexplored territory for us.

We did a corporate luncheon on a ship called "yachta yachta yachta" this weekend. You can't make this stuff up.

We're flirting with spending some money on google adwords to drive in some traffic, although I'm a little weary. I really don't want to drive in unqualified leads, because we'll be paying per click.

Also, as we flirt with these new markets, we present ourselves with new challenges. We stood in 100 degree heat for about an hour before we could get set up, waiting for the ship to come in, so to speak...

But in the end, everything went off quite nicely. Erin got a text message proclaiming the deliciousness of the feast, at 2am this morning. Can someone say booze cruise?

Some History on us

Sage Garden Catering was founded in March 2010 by Robert MacNab and Erin Brundage. We bought a small pizza shop and converted it to a full-service commercial catering kitchen.

Erin Brundage has over ten years experience in catering and the food service industry. After working for others in various capacities from server to catering division manager, Erin was quite eager to work under her own ticket. Her commitment to excellent food and personal customer service sets her apart among her peers. Her great attitude and sparkling personality reflect her determination to provide service of the highest quality.

Robert MacNab was a rising star in corporate America with a University background, and very little restaurant experience. Upon being laid off in early 2009, he decided to walk the Appalachian Trail, a distance of 2,178 miles from Georgia to Maine. Freshly showered and shaven, he brings with him the grit, tenacity, and business savvy necessary for survival in today's turbulent times.

Sage Garden Catering is the result of our collaborative efforts. We love where we're at right now as a company--young, lean, flexible, and constantly learning and growing. We look to the future and smile, never forgetting where we came from.
